Buying another house and debating on going with better.com or Chase. Chase was able to match Better’s 30 year rate of 2.75% with about 1 point in lender’s closing credits however they can’t match their 2.125% 15-year with a little over 1 point in lender’s closing credit. Better is also offering to cover the appraisal fee. I would prefer the 15 year loan but having closed multiple Lin’s with Chase I’m more comfortable as I know what to expect. Curious if anyone has bought a home using better.com and how your process went? Did they request any unusual last minute documentation and did they meet the deadline?
