    18" 6.5 Creedmoor shooting factory 143 gr eld-x at 2400 fps?

Just seems a little slow to me

    2700 out of a 24 inch barrel.

Pretty close I had a hard time getting 2700 out of my 24".

          I was getting 2675 out of a 22" barrel with a suppressor on an AR10, so I don't doubt 2400 on an 18".

That’s all I shoot out of mine.

Sounds a little fast for an 18" barrel although my only experience is with a 22" barrel. I see around 2650 fps.

Thanks for the feedback. I was expecting 2500ish. My chrono (cheap) showed 2400. I was hoping the chrono just sucked

Doesn't really make much difference inside 300 yds, though

I was getting 2550ish out of an 18” with the same ammo.

My (low velocity node) handloads with a 143 ELD-x bullet pushed by H4350 run 2525 out of a 20" bbl Ruger American Rifle. I think I remember chronographing around 2550 with the factory Precision Hunter 143 ELD-x in the same rifle.
