Best trap, bar none. I’ve caught so many with mine.
Also, need to kill the food they are coming in your yard for. Most likely grubs

This trap is by far the best hands down!
I've built funnels to the mesh wire live traps - only ever got one!
I've spent several sleepless nights up with a spot light and .22. I did knock out a lot with this method.
But this trap is without a doubt the best - https://www.thearmadillotrap.com/
Just be ready with your .22 when you open the trap in the morning.
sometimes I have had to open both ends and push the armadillo out with a length of PVC pipe and then they take off!

The round Dow rod in the middle of the trap should have a notch in it. It locks on the round hole that it sticks through. When they try to walk through the box they hit the Dow rod releasing the two end doors. I always set it on either th left or right side of the hole. That way it does not matter which direction they come from.
