    Meat grinder plate size question

Is a 5/8" hole plate too big for deer chili meat?
I have a new grinder plate for another project, (andouillle), and can't think of a reason not to use it.
I just don't want to have to regrind.

    Thanks

I would be good running 5/8 for chili.

That should be good for chili meat.

Do you want it to look like big grind burger or small chunks? The 5/8 will make big grind burger. If you want small chunks use a stuffing plate like this:https://www.lemproducts.com/product/...grinder-plates

I usually run it twice through the 5/8 plate. Gives it a nice consistency and is the perfect size for chili meat.

This...… I used to run it thru a plate this size twice when I made chili meat when I ran a meat market for winn dixie.
