Your right. I own a Lawn Service and my phone has ringing off the hook. Most Lawns I ever cut in January if it would only stop raining so I could get to all of them. Lol

Grandpa said that when Mimosa trees bud out, winter is over. He never planted his garden before then and his plants never got frost nipped.

I had to mow one section of our back yard next to the pool yesterday too. Most of what made it look bad were weeds. Those lil flowering purple plants took over one spot. Got get some granules on them soon.

That’s the truth. I had ducks landing in my back yard.

It's about to get cold, and wet. High School baseball starts this weekend!

Not for me. I'm sitting at -3 right now and loving it. Will thaw out a little when I come back down for the Shoot-Out in La Pryor.

Models are hinting at snow next week. They are all pretty much in agreement of snow in Texas tues/Wednesday of next week. But they are disagreeing on where and how much. A few models have the storm tracking just north of 120 which makes this a rolling plains red river valley storm. A few other have it tracking north of there making it a southern panhandle/Oklahoma storm. (Hoping for the latter).

Right now all models have adequate cold and moisture at play. Fun to see how this one shapes up
