Man, I'm ready to be in the blind. Boss called me today said we had a guy quit, and to not freak out when I see the schedule because he knows I've been hammered lately.
Also that I cant take the vacation I wanted...

LOL I had to let him know, If he gives someone else my OT day in November (middle of 7 days I'm supposed to be off) then I will work Christmas and Christmas eve with no complaints. (Was supposed to be first one off in 8 years)

all that said, looks like I'm only going to have 14 days to get it done this year. Cant wait until the 13th.

Hunted our Christoval lease grounds last weekend and even though the temperatures were very warm, deer still seem to move early and late. What few acorns that are falling are getting cleaned up quickly so deer are still hitting feed stations pretty hard.

I was lucky enough to kill this mature short tined 10 point Saturday morning. As most know, I do not discriminate against mature bucks..ha ha
