    Tippy-Tap hand washing station

    No plumbing required!

Our archery club installed a 250 gallon rain water collection tank last fall. It's great because we have no running water and everything must be "temporary" per our lease rules. And now that we have access to water, I decided we needed to up our game!
All the material was scrap and destined for either the trash or burn barrel, except the conduit clamps, which were a total of $8.

A discarded frame that used to have a canopy we kept over my outdoor grill, two lengths of 3/4" conduit pipe, two empty 1 gallon bleach jugs, two 1x4" boards that were removed from a deconstruction project, a little spray paint and strips of skateboard tape, and a fence board:

I drilled two holes and a notch in the two 1x4 boards and added calking to the conduit ends. The notch will keep the cord in place. Then I attached the conduit clamps. Two for each bar. After I painted the 1x4 boards and attached the skateboard tape, and a long piece of paracord.
I attached the clamps to the boards to stabilize them. I also added the corners to keep the foot bar from rolling out - remember this is all scrap. If I wanted to, I could have gone to the store and bought proper ends.

Finally, I punched some holes in the jugs and painted them. I am going to add a screen to keep the mosquitoes and wasps out.

Just step on the board to pour water out. We moved the soap and holder from the tank as well. I'll add a "filler" jug so we don't have to disassemble this to refill the jugs.

                Do your shoes get wet?

I’m considering this for a skinning rack to get blood off hands before touching stuff.

This is a really cool idea!

So I'm assuming as the jugs empty the foot petals get / sit lower and lower?

No, because I placed the top bar back a bit. I have to lean forward a little. I was going to put rock on the ground to prevent mud from splashing up, but the thick layer of pine needles do the job well too. We have very sandy soil and I placed it on somewhat higher ground, so I am not too concerned about it getting muddy either.
But that's a great idea for the skinning rack too!!

Edit - also the bottom bar keeps the foot pedals held back and in place so they don't slide forward

Yep, bottoms up! You'll notice the high angle of the pedals
and the skateboard tape, aka step guard tape, provides grip so your feet don't slide off, even when wet.

I will have to look into building something like that by our cleaning station at deer camp.
