I consider it a priveledge to pray for friends, and a humbling honor to kneel before the Lord. But I surely do wish it weren't for myself.
Last week, my FIL was placed in hospice and MIL into a "memory care" place as she has demintia and FIL can no longer care for MIL. Tonight, I'm told that my Mom has been passing blood for a while and not telling anyone. I'm no Doc, but that usually means colon cancer. All three at once?!!
These dear ones are all advanced in years and have had good lives. A great run! I suppose it's just their time. We all have our time.
They are all three of them Christians, so they have a great place to go. In fact, my FIL accepted Christ just 2-weeks ago!! Kind of rare for a 90 year old.
My ask is that they not linger or suffer in pain. For peace, rest, and a calm passing.
