Opinions on Weight of This Hog

I let my buddy shoot a hog I trapped today just north of Houston. Didn’t have a scale so I’m looking for some estimations on the weight from you more experienced fellas
. I tried to post a few of the “non-posed” pictures so as to not throw off the estimates too much.

A few details to help scale:
Guy in blue jacket (me) 5’9” 190
Guy in brown jacket is 6’2” 280 lbs
Rifle is a 10.5” with a SilencerCo omega
Brick paver inter his head is 6”x12”
Gate on trap is 8’ wide

    Thanks for the input!

225# - don't think it will reach 300# gun and cinder block are better indicators than the guys staged behind it. The shot in the pen makes me think a little more than 225 but not much

200-220 is my first guess. But looking more maybe 225 or so.

Should he pose in trap then shoot it? Lol

Looks like you killed some beer/corn money. Trap and sell them big suckers.

Now that’d be fun to watch.

Camera angles can make things appear bigger or smaller than they actually are.

Next time instead of all the “scale “ references just put a measuring tape on it. Maybe measure the girth while you’re at it.

The fact that’s it’s dead is all that matters to me.
