We got pictures of them eating our corn with ice and snow on their backs

        They’re fine.

They are way tougher than you think....at least these big Easterns are. We had over two weeks of below zero temperatures. This group came strolling by the house last week at about 10 below zero with snow up to their breasts. After they made their way thru the deep snow they got out on the county road and walked right down the middle of the road. Who says turkeys are stupid.[emoji1]

Didn't slow mine down one bit. I've seen merriams at 9k in the snow while elk hunting making it just fine as well.....

Now the chi-chi birds didn't fair so well......

Turkeys will be fine, there like flying opossums, just dont die easy. Tough old birds no pun intended.

Little chilly but made it just fine. My Rios ate a ton of feed each day in the cold.

Seems like ours made it ok as well. Can’t tell if we have any hoppers but there are plenty of bodies. Glad to see it after -3 temps with a -12 wind chill up that way.
