2020 Coyote Kill Thread.

I guess I’ll make it 149. I haven’t seen a coyote in the 20+ years we’ve had our ranch in rocksprings and I killed one the other day. Then the next day I shot one at my lease in willow city. My first 2 coyotes ever too.

150. Tried to upload a pic but it kept failing. Taken on the 8th.

Shot another mangy one with the .223 this evening at 170 yards. Looked like a really nice furred up coyote until I walked out to get it. Had no fur at all on his belly and mange was all over his legs. I've never killed this many mangy coyotes in one season and it's just starting. I hope this doesn't become something I see all Winter. I generally shoot 3 or 4 with mange a season but this is just crazy.

I killed one this morning, and my cousin and his son each got one at the lease. We’ve killed 8 since late September.

Killed a pretty one today. Good sized male, and I didn’t blow him up, so I’m gonna skin him out and tan the hide. Oh, 172.
