3 more this past weekend. The GF is wearing them out with that 22/250 and 50 grain x bullets. Big pigs for west Texas. Largest weighted close to 300 I'm sure. And the first official kill for my Barrett Fieldcraft in 6.5 X 55. The Swift Scirocco did a number on this pig.

A nice eater that added 22 pounds to the grind pile and left the front shoulders bone in for pulled tacos....mmm....tacos....

I had a great week in the Hill Country. 2 Bucks, 6 hogs and one Axis.
My cousin has a hog trap set up in Concan right off the Frio. He let me do the honors. Some of these pigs just shook off the 22's I was putting between their eyes. Shooting superssonics with a can. Tough critters. So here are. 1981-1986.

Now 4 days earlier, we caught 11 hogs in same trap. I didn't shoot them , but I was in on the dragging 'em out of the pen. Does that count towards the KAP kill?
