            Looks a lot better than the one I made from a hickory sapling and a hay string, but I was 12 years old.

              Sam I have taken a lot from your poor folks bows build alongs. Thanks for that.

              Thanks for the kind words guys. This is the first bow I have made from my own form design. It’s pretty quick. I did have quite a bit of time getting that riser block to fit in a form that was that aggressive. Especially with the belly running running through the handle. I thought that might be easier. It would have been with a straighter handle design I think.

                    Nice bow Ken. Did you go all black on the belly and back? How does it draw out weight wise? Lets see some more pics and some stats!

                    You get to wear the bowyer hat now...anytime you do or dont want. Very nice Sir.

                    Ive got the “itis” to craft a yew bow.

                              It is 64” nock to nock and 47# at 28”.
