      Just the nature of the area, the hogs thrive there, there are a few deer but they have never really taken off like some areas of the state, some blame it on the hogs but it was no different back in the day when there were no hogs here.

        You can get an adequate tractor and brush hog reasonable used. The mowing and spraying of brush will make a big difference in how the animals use it. Consider wind, stand position, entry and exit strategy and food plot placement before you mow.

            Hey I'm not saying we don't have deer. We have lots of deer. We aren't going to grow any booners but we have some that are decent. Here is a 3yr old I passed a few times hoping he would get older. My neighbor shot him saying he was older.

              The antler restrictions have definitely helped but I've not seen the impact in that area like I have in the east side of the county and other parts...
