28 years...

My lovely bride retired today after 28 + years with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

She was a hell of a police officer and investigator for 20 years then gave up the badge and accepted a civilian management position.

She definitely left the place much better than she found it and had a work ethic that was unmatched by anyone.

I'm looking forward to joining her in the near future so we can start our new lives FAR away from Harris County.

I really struck gold when I married my best friend 20 years ago!
