Story sure,
Have been learning a new place, that has some good deer, and a ton of hogs. Hunting over a feeder here is very slow ,and only draws small bucks.
I climbed out of my bow stand @ 8:50 grabbed my Grendel to go stalk hogs, passed 2 small 8s and a small spike.I caught movement to my left, he was chasing a doe- I set my shooting sticks up -primos tripod, took a better look and stopped him with a bleat. Took out the back of both lungs @ 155 yards. He made it about 100 yards and the rain was making tracking difficult.

Well done. Way to get out away from the feeder. Deer can be killed a lot of other ways besides watching a feeder or corn pile

Congrats!

To your original question on use of dog. Answer is yes. If anyone in the BV ever needs a dog PM me. More than happy to assist.
