    Arrow launched!

My son has been hunting a big 10 here in Kendall county that has proven to be a ghost. Thanks to COVID he’s home from A&M and has been able to sit 11 days in a row. I was able to sit with him this morning when the buck finally came in. What a rush! We are sitting in the truck warming up and waiting. Shot looks back rib to me. Clean pass thru with Iron Will wide cut. He hates the waiting part.

            I agree. I'd sit a couple hours.

Gut shot deer. Good luck on the recovery.

Just FYI, if you don’t see a good blood trail a good dog can follow and recover a gut shot deer

Need to wait awhile on that shot. I personally would wait around 6 hours. That looks even a little far back for liver. Good luck!!

Hard to tell. Those pics will fool ya. That arrow could be 2 foot away from the deer. Deer could have turned. Id look at the first few yards of blood of blood and see what you get.

Yep......if you want to find that deer, a good dog is probably gonna be your best course of action. Good luck

Go to camp and fire up the pit. About the time the brisket gets done and you are full ....then its time to go get him. Great deer and he will die. Maybe very soon but probably take a while. Keep us posted.
