Thanks Hoggslayer, my new pit
In my life I've always been known as a creative guy. I've built a few pits out of tire rims but when I saw Jays pit I had to have one. They say imitation is the best form of flattery. I changed the layout of the shoes and put the T post tabs to the outside so it would work with my slide grill. Thanks for the idea Jay.

I really don't understand the problem. I have a bunch of fire pits around the place. Here is another. The pot is made out of stainless pipe, the lid aluminum deck plate. I bought the pot and made everything else.
