Default Doe and Unicorn this weekend
Haven't been since opening weekend where I sat twice and semi got busted both times by does. Saturday morning had several deer. Button buck, a maybe legal unbranched (a kicker that should be under 7/8"), fawn does and does. I had a good doe broadside at 15 yds on some hand toss outside of feeder so I took the shot. A little high but a short great blood trail and I found her at 30/35yds.
Saturday evening I was busted by the maybe legal unbranched (better look, he is legal) down wind. Had another start to come in from behind me and I think it spooked a little when I turned my head. Oh well...
Sunday morning I had several does and fawns come in. Then the "unicorn" hit the hand toss corn at the same spot as Saturdays doe. He turn toward me on the shot but still hit heart and opposite lung. Heard him crash and maybe 30 yds and he was down.
Now for my +13" buck at the lease and a bigger one at Hagerman...

The doe looks like she was still nursing. Kind of late in the year for that, but it sure looks like it.
