    Alabama white sauce recipe?

Anyone have a recipe for Alabama White Sauce? I had it in St. Louis at Sugarfire BBQ... It was dang good bbq sauce to try something different at the time. I wanted to try and make my own, so thought I'd reach out to see if anyone had a recipe.

    Yes, WHITE BBQ SAUCE!

I made it once after I saw it on a tv show. I used it for chicken and it was really good. Need to do it again. Don’t remember the exact recipe I just used one I found online.

          Ingredients

          2 cups mayonnaise
          ½ cup apple cider vinegar
          ¼ cup prepared extra-hot horseradish
          2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
          2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
          1 teaspoon kosher salt
          ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
          ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Mix mayonnaise, vinegar, horseradish, lemon juice, black pepper, mustard, salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder together in a bowl. Whisk together thoroughly until creamy and smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

          Note:

When basting, brush two or three applications on each side toward the end of cooking over more indirect heat. It sears on nicely. As a table sauce, it's great on any of the traditional barbecued meats, but since it's really just a salad dressing, it's also wonderful for making potato salad, coleslaw, and grilled vegetables.

You can use this sauce on chicken, ribs, pulled pork, or any fatty meat.

The CEO hates (despises) mayo. Gonna try with sour cream or maybe yogurt and will report back.

Yall in St Louis, this was the best sauce they had and they had like 8 or 10 different varieties. My first attempt at making a keto version sucked.

I'm just glad to see a thread with Alabama and White in the title that's not about racism. Carry on with your gross sounding sauce thread.
