            Good work, Charlie!!!!

I was just giving a hard time to what has become typical of TBH..

Question: Where can I buy a pair of boots in the Houston area?

Answer #1: The HEB in Odessa has pickles.

Answer #2: You can find kites at Ace Hardware in Corpus

            Answer #3: My wiener itches....

Pretty common around here and the last time I looked there was a store or two in Paris that had them. Giffords and then Swaims Hardware, but that was 4-5 years ago. The rivets were weak and bad about popping in the cheap ones like Saltwater posted, but thats a simple fix and once replaced with a quality rivet usually last a long time.

Yes sir, our place on the river off of 4610.

Growing up in the Everglades, we frogged out of airboats using a four prong gig homemade out of 1/2" conduit and straightened out fish hooks. You can now buy the hooks straight before they bend them. Use Mustad hooks.

You typically frogged up on a plane at 15-20mph, its a blast.

Used the gig the other night on a friend's abandoned catfish pond poling a jonboat, we got 60 some big ones in an hour.

Try doing this. Frogs are like bulls when they see red. This is how we caught them. We would take a long fishing pole. Put a fish on it put a piece of Red Uncle Josh pork rind on the hook/ may try a 1-2 inch piece or RED leather. Dangle it right in front of there face. Even drag over its nose and they will strike it 99% of the time. Normally they bite on the red and don’t let go. Hey I am in the market to stock some bull frogs and/or tadpoles in a new pond. Any chance your close to Houston area

no need for red. cane pole and a crappie jig is hard to beat.
