I have sent back to Ruger an "out of time" Vaquero that I bought used. (Full disclosure to Ruger). I had it back in my hands repaired by the 4th day. No fuss, no muss, no charge. Their CS is really good in my experience.

Got it back!

Put it all back together knowing it was fixed.
First round....misfire, light primer strike.....second round, fire, third round, fire, fourth round, misfire, light primer strike.

Hoping Ruger will just give me my money back. I'll contact CS in the morning. I'll never buy another new Ruger product!

Another $200 and I could have got a real rifle.

I had a Ruger Ranch for a while. Never hade any malfunctions out of it, but it wasn’t as accurate as what I was hoping for.

Traded it for something else...

But your last sentence is exactly how I feel about them. For a little bit more could have gotten a whole lot more.

Sorry to hear they didn't fix the issue. I agree that the only Ruger guns worth owning is their 10-22 and the larger revolvers. I'll never own another American rifle, and can't understand why they can't seem to fix this very common issue.

You might as well go buy a new magazine for it before it gets here. Mine fell apart in my hands, its all cheap plastic with a spring inside it. Must be a common problem cause the internet is full of "how to fix them".
