Well just about have them old hunting cabin complete. I know it doesn’t look like much but deer camp isn’t suppose to be 5 star, but we will manage. Bathroom still needs floor and base done, counter top in kitchen but she is almost move in ready. Two “master bedroom” 2 guest bedroom.

Also picked up a 20’ storage connex from a tbher and got it set.

Like wingnut we don’t have a lot of great bucks to show yet. Lots of doe/fawns so hoping with the feed and food plots we will start recruiting heavy once they start leaving their summer hangouts.

Broke some ground this weekend to start prepping for food plots. We are in bad need of rain, we have missed most of the rain the last 4 months. Ground is really hard. We had about 3/4” last week and yesterday you couldn’t tell we had any. Need to get seed in ground but gonna wait till we have some rain in forecast or until next trip out and gamble.

I see you ditched the tiller idea and went with a 3 point hook up and disc, hows that working out? Are you having to force it into the ground or running it in float mode?

Well, yes and no, ground is rock hard. I broke one U bolt when I hit a stump. Pushing is def hard on equipment. I need to adjust the gangs and add some weight to run in float. It took some leaning to figure out what position is best. I may still get a tiller but after I break the ground good once im gonna start trying to go the no till route after watching some videos from a couple you tube “experts”
