Been a bit since I got on a hog! This was an cool hunt using a spur of the moment phone app! I called this boar in using a fighting hog sound from a app on my phone. He came running in from 150-200 yards out and barley gave me time for a shot! When I turned the light on he was close to my ground scent and one or the other put him on edge. He gave me a hard quartering away shot at 23 steps and it worked out for a 70 yard recovery. 49# Bob Lee Shikari and a 564 grain DaySix arrow/head set up.

Shout out to my buddy Statton! He hasn’t ever really hunted with traditional equipment before but this weekend he picked up Jeffs bow at our javi hunt and went out and killed a couple rabbits. Dude is a natural. He’s hooked now!!
