We have a very small place. When would be a good time to maybe start feeding a little more protein than the little we've been putting out? Dont know if we'd get them any "bigger" so to speak, but possibly supplement them with a little better grub. What yall think?

Protein is always beneficial and we feed it year round, deer will eat however much they need when they need it.

We feed year round but now is one of the hardest times on the bucks coming out of the rut. If you can feed protein now till it greens up again is better than nothing.

We put out 4K lbs of cotton seed at the beginning of the month. Going back in a couple weeks to refill cotton seed & fill 6k lbs of protein. The sooner, the better. We had some new bucks show up late and it has helped keep them around so far.
