Can’t find any resource to offset cost but did find Mezavue. Straight up puts a kybash on prickly pear.

They have a program in Mills county. Give your county NRCS office a call. Our county gets sprayed during the winter by helicopter.

My luck it will grow as tall and thick as cedar. I saw places in south Texas that would burn the needles off of it. I guess the cattle and deer would eat it after that.

3 pints of Surmount per acre works great for root killing prickly pear. The key to treating cactus is to be patient. It generally takes two to three years to achieve maximum control with herbicides.

We started Mezavue, less than half the time of surmount. Although surmount is good look it up, might save some money in future. Happy pear killing!

Stop using my government tax dollars to subsidize your private land improvements. K thanks.
