Holiday Beach Vacation

Anybody have information on the area? Looking at a little place for 2 adults, 3 kids age 3-11. Great rates for a 4 day, 3 night stay. I'm used to Port A and Corpus, haven't ever stayed that far up. What's there to do? Is it a decent area?
