I held the Gibbons Creek Reservoir record for small mouth buffalo for a short time until people realized they kept records for small mouth buffalo.

Fished it a little bit in college. We weren’t too serious - mainly just used stinkbait and cut bait for catfish but usually did pretty good.

I used to go in college. We would hammer the bass, catfish and crappie from the dock. It was never really busy and from what I hear it was a sleeper lake for big fish at one time. Haven't been in 5 years or so.

That is what current TPWD info shows. I've been looking at this too for a less crowded potential catfish lake.

Been once years ago, my brother and I went on a day trip. I out fished him twenty something to two.... one of his two bass was close to 11 pounds so I guess he had the last laugh

Fish it some as I live in bryan. Open fri-sun. Caught some good cats outta there. Haven’t really gotten serious into the crappie or bass

Fished kayaks back in school. So many stumps. Did catch as many bass as you felt like reeling in working the sides. Easy kayak lake.

Real easy to catch a limit of good sized catfish there.

You need a boat/kayak, fishing from shore seemed like I’d get tangled in someone’s cut line every other cast.

That is my home lake, if I have a home lake.
