It happens in conference championship games occasionally. It would have been worse had WVU not lost to Okie Lite and them and OU played back to back weeks.

Tell me this......if UGA got in and then beat Bama, they would have split head to head but UGA had 2 losses and Bama only one. Why would UGA win in that scenario?

I am not saying they should have gotten in, I was just asking why one rematch would be dumb but not another.

Georgia should have beat LSU then they would have gotten in even with a close loss against BAMA last weekend.

In your scenario UGA would win because everything is wiped clean once the playoffs start. Regular season and conference championships don't matter.

In the NFL does the team with the best regular season record win the Super Bowl or is it the team that doesn't lose in the playoffs? March Madness? CWS?
