The quarantine has been rough, but we were lucky enough that my folks had a reservation at Inks Lake State Park for a couple of weeks in March. The fishing has been really good, especially for catfish and crappie.
On one of the runs on 3/28, the new lake record was on one of the six juglines that were out. My pops and uncle were lucky enough to get it landed, to a certified scale, and released. It weighed in at 45.8lbs, breaking the old record of of 39.4lbs. It has been a lot of fun, and we're looking forward to hammering the yellow cats in the coming weeks on LBJ!
