Thanks everyone for the congratulatory remarks. Much appreciated. Glad to do it with my best friend... memories made on my first bow kill.
Quick followup question - how much meat should I expect back from the processor? I asked for the hams for jerky, the tenderloin, the backstrap... 5# sausage, 8# summer sausage and the rest to be hamburger meat.
Last year I killed 2 does and got back about 80 lbs for both... Should I expect 40-50 lbs on this buck?
