Been trying to find one of the British Enfields that has been converted/rebarrelled to .45-70 for a hog rifle but no luck.

I'll report back on my findings

Only thing I'm worried about is an obnoxiously heavy trigger pull but there are after market springs that cure that.

You can use all factory loads rated safe for an 1895/modern lever action.



Makers of +P .45-70 ammo with list that info in their load specs.

Thanks. This thing is sooo nice. I can't believe they're so cheap. I can't wait to shoot it. I already want another one in 308.
