Troy, at the risk of hurting your feelings, because I like you and especially like to read of your escapades and predicaments, you only post on here when you need/want something. This is a great forum with generous people, but come on man, I get the feeling that you are using us as a go-to place when you want or need something. Go back and look at all of your threads...always leaning on the green screen. Often you start a thread and never respond to questions for clarification. You just disappear! Ya gots to participate, contribute, and give back occasionally!

I hope you take this in the spirit in which it was meant.

Yep. Iíll meet him at Southwest Park. Cross Timbers and Shady Grove. My old stomping grounds. Iíll be armed as I think my pit may end up in blocks right beneath my eyes.

No help to the thread, but when I loaned my pit out once, it came back full of ashes and grease everywhere...so with that being said, if you borrow one, clean it up on return!

Troy, I learned a long time ago that when you have to borrow stuff, you have to be able to afford twice whatís itís worth. The first amount to pay for when it gets stolen or torn up and then the second amount to buy one for yourself.

With that said, read and understand Burnadellís post..

My brother is a borrower. Problem is I never get anything back, once in his possession he takes ownership.

No, because I donít have one on wheels, and I live probably 160 miles from Troy. If I was close and had a portable smoker, he could certainly ďbarrowĒ it.

So do you have one he can borrow, or are you just trolling an old man? Youíve replied multiple times and have yet to offer a solution or a suggestion. Burnadellís original post couldnít have been more on point and was very respectfully delivered. If you didnít like it, tough ****. Doesnít make it any less applicable.

Troy, Iíve got two. If you want to drive to Porter to pick one up, you can use it.

How does one get himself into a position of needing to smoke food for 30 people when one doesn't own a smoker? Things that make you go hmmmm
