10 does came in for about a min then blew out. Wind was good but it was light. I did not like the tree I was in cover wide so I tore down and moved back 10 feet. Should be in the chips now. My buddy’s will be hunting over the weekend while I’m doing birthday stuff. I’ll update again wheh I get back to hunting

I have a morning new construction home inspection over in Woodforest then I’ll be able to slip out for an evening hunt. I have some scrape cameras marinating I need to check and want to get a little hand corn out for this next Monday-Wednesday. I’ll update when I get pointed north

Pretty cool event. Swat teams from all over the world competing. Snipers nest, building clearing, pistol range and the fitness test.

250 m run
30 burpees over the atlas stone
160# stone carry 30 m
30 shoulder to overhead 95#
30 m walk with barbell racked
30 deadlift 185#
30 wallballs
100 m sprint back

They cut me lose early. This was the fitness test first year being added in. A couple guys killed it time wise and lots of guys opted out lol.

I wish I could dump a big corn pile in the undeveloped stuff. A ton of big deer out that way lol.

This popped up on memory from 6 yrs ago. Probably the best deer I’ve passed with a bow. Was hunting his 2 running buddies. Maybe I can seal the deal on a different one tonight. Bout to start checking some cams and make a decision for the evening. Hope to be in by 4.

I’m in. Camera run was meh. No new shooters but some new deer did show. Watching the Stros on my phone. Northeast wind is stiff blowing my scent across the river. Not expecting much but I got some hand corn out for Sunday afternoon and those next few days.
