Generally happens mid December around Utopia. Two days ago they were still in bachelor groups.

I got here yesterday, multiple groups of bucks still in groups. Trying to do damage control with the aoudad!

Im headed back this week with my middle son. Hopefully they start moving.

I’ve got the older bucks still in groups most of the time. Some of the young ones are starting to get curious.

Between del rio and Sonora we had younger bucks running hard. No older deer yet but we have a excellent crop of acorns.

You guys hunting around there have an Aoudad problem like I’m seeing to the west around Concan?

Just got back after a week of hunting. Younger bucks were chasing, saw a couple older bucks but didn’t seem interested. Afternoon hunts were the best, I guess the full moon had them laid up during morning.

Sat all day today in Tarpley today. Saw a stud right before shooting light but hardly any morning movement. Evening had a young 2 year old buck chasing a doe hard. Nothing from the older bucks.
