Not sure how I missed this thread. Awesome bucks. You definitely need wind in order to get within range of those things. Our guide told us as soon as we walked into camp, "if the wind don't blow, we don't go." Said it wasn't worth it to find a nice buck then spook him out....better to just sit on him for a few days and wait for the wind to start blowing.

Man I am glad you pushed this one back to top as I missed it. Having lived and hunted in Alberta for six years and get Hunter hosted twice since 2010... not a better place in my mind to hunt big mule deer , but white tail and good elk in the world.
Covid ruined my Hunter host trip this year , but god willing I will go back next year.
