Recovered!!!!

Last night I put a post out here looking for a
a tracking dog. https://discussions.texasbowhunter.c...d.php?t=831154
I met up with Nathan Bacon and Mia and we went to work. Mia did a fantastic job tracking and found him within 30 minutes.

I made a bad shot and it went into guts. I went about 50 yards with minimal blood then backed out. When Mia found him, he was still alive so I put another arrow in him and he was done. 6 year old and weighed 205#s...Feeling very fortunate and blessed today!!!

I'm VERY surprised the dog guy let you shoot the deer again, especially with a bow. I don't know of ANY dog guys that will let someone shoot over their dog.
