    Rattlesnake Preseason Hunt

With temperatures bumping near 70 yesterday in North Texas we headed out on some new areas we thought might have some potential for this spring snake roundup, and we were not disappointed! caught two nice 4.5' and spotted several that we couldn't reach!
    Short video of the catches

That first one was a big sucker. I caught one yesterday but the wind picked up and had them hiding today. Probably another week or so of nice weather and they're gonna come out.

          No hand catching?

I caught a few when I lived near Freer. Then I almost got bit. Used a grabber after that. Almost a hard lesson learned.

Those Midwest grabbers are the best! 40" here.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Roger I remember hearing that story sack brushed his leg, hence the hard box.

Like how the catcher never lost his smoke.

The only things snakes are good for are boots and belts. KILL em all.

Great video! What do you do with the live snakes?

I don't think that snake grabber has a long enough handle for me.
