    River Fishing?

Got a itch to go set some lines with this high water. Anybody ever tried it this time of year? Waste of time? I normally wait til march.

With the rivers on the rise, should be good fishing. Good luck !!

I plan on running the river this weekend and setting a few myself. Also may try to play with the crappie if they are willing!

What river do you usually fish? I'm from Bryan and we usually fish the Brazos a little way down from HWY 60

We fish the Navasota too. About halfway between 21 and OSR. We do pretty well any time the river is half bank or higher

Normally use cut or live bait. Put out about 25 chicken hearts.

                River level looks good.

Fish bite year round, except during the summer. That's because I don't fish during the summer.

I wish people would stop posting this on public forums. Most folks believe that fish vacation out of the water for winter....and we would like to keep it that way

                            Trinity River.

You can catch catfish, gar, flesh eating bacteria, brain eating amoebae, parasites, tape worms, cryptosporidiosis, and many other diseases. The opportunities are endless on that river.
