Red Chile I like either way beans or not, tastes the same. Just a bit more “ substance” with beans. Now green Chile, I have never seen nor heard of any body putting beans in green Chile. To smother a bean burrito yes. But you don’t put beans in green Chile ever.

This was all a 'social experiment'. Waste of time, I should've stopped at the 1st page.
My Texas Red aka Chili does not have beans - will never have beans. Not going to say those who like beans in chili are democrats or communists or socialists. You might very well be, but how you eat chili is unlikely to be a contributor. Though I do like chili cheese burgers and chili dogs. If you have beans on those then... you are more likely not to have any meat in the meal at all... that would be vegetarian.

I prefer my chili like this picture below. I`ve had beans in mine and they were still good, but I much prefer them without. I don`t know where the cornbread and chili thing started either / not a fan. I`m strictly crackers, Fritos or nothing. But at the end of the day, everyone's taste is different so add all the beans you want.......... Beans are cheap. LOL
