I hunted on one my neighbor's farms this evening. I was doing a scouting hunt in an area that I found while turkey hunting last spring. I had two does and a buck come into the clover field as I was setting up my saddle rig.

Right at dark 8 more does and another buck came into the clover. This could be a really good spot but I am going to set up in a different spot the next time I hunt it. More intel, more strategy, more planning.

I pulled a card down behind the house last night I just got a chance to check it.

I have not seen this guy since late last season. I found one of his sheds in March. He is easy to identify with the split G2s.

That is a nice place. It is about 40 minutes from our farm. You will be amazed at the rut activity the first week of November. Good Luck to you !!!

Back on our farm this evening. In the tree saddle on the east end of our creek bottom. I have never hunted this spot. I am on a crossing on the river. One of my food plots is about 100 yards from me on the other side of the river. The wind is north/northeast which is perfect for the spot.

It's 37 and about a perfect evening.
