I feel your pain....of course mine were all years ago. I have been on crutches for sprained ankles four times.....(Basketball) Broken ankle once. (football ). Knee once ( Softball ) Those we’re all before I was 22 years old. LOL. Hope you heal up soon. Those things are painful.

Still as ugly as I remember playing football! If it wasnt knee's it was ankles!

Yeah I’ve been there. Luckily it’s been awhile.

Are you sure nothing is broke or tore.

I send a buddy at work this pic on a regular basis just to make him queasy...

I fear this injury almost more than a broken bone...although I've made it almost 50 years without breaking a bone.

No kidding!! I tore my calf back in October, again playing racquetball. I love the sport!

                        Dang.
I feel for ya. I have rolled my right ankle so many times it looks like yours all the time, minus the bruising.
Went to the dr., and he recommended surgery, just never got around to doing it.
Hope it gets better for ya!

I did the surgery and it was a great decision.

                          Recovery wasn't bad.

Boy do those pictures bring back memories. I've got a screw in my ankle from a fracture when I was 13.

Last time I sprained one real good was about 6 years ago. Looked just about like yours except on the other foot. I think I bought myself a walking boot air cast and wore it for about 3 days and then switched to heavy duty ankle brace and wore that until I didnt need it anymore. In my personal experience, being on my feet moving around is about the best rehab I could do for my ankle sprains.
