    This deer just showed up, skin and bones. He’s obviously got something wrong, all our other deer are fat as they’ve ever been.

            He has something wrong, but deer are tough. I would let him get over it.....or not, but he doesn’t seem like good table fare to me.

                      I can't tell from the angles, but he could be very very old. I had a deer around like that. He was ancient.

                      Plus, all of my cows lose weight like that when they get old. They cannot eat enough because they cannot chew very well.

                            why shoot it??? Meat isn't going to be good, he is not an old deer(legs too long looking), not a trophy rack. Let him go, see if he recovers for next year.
