    Revolver Restoration

I don't post much of my work on here but this one I feel like i need to share. A guy took his daughter hunting 14 years ago, he filmed her shooting her first deer. Got home and his revolver and camera were stolen out of his truck, 13 years later he gets a call, got his revolver back. It was recovered on a traffic stop. 13 years of abuse under its belt. Got the rust off, degreased, cerakote, all new springs inside, new front sight blade, rebuilt the rear adjustable sight and a new grip per the owners request. I need a Dan Wesson revolver, that thing is smooth as butter now.

Ceracote covers a multitude of sins, and it was sinful to treat a Dan Wesson like that. I’m sure there was lots of work to do on the innards too. Good job !

I'm a fan of DW revolvers! Always have been since I was first introduced to them in the early 1980s.

That is a DW 15-8HV in 357 Mag. And nice rework.

And if anybody has a Pachmayr grip for this model of DW, I might be interested in buying it.

Very nice restoration. What was the cerekote color you used on the revolver?
