    I hate fletching arrows.

I guess I should say "defletching" arrows and it is the biggest pain in the butt. I have tried using arrow wraps and they seem to be more painful. I would almost rather just buy new shafts then having to scrape everything off, it's too time consuming. I've watched videos out there on the web but was curious how yall guys do it. Thanks!

I just use a pocket knife and acetone.

I prefer a big valleyed/toothed serrated knife. Get to strokin...easy does it.

I have a Saunders fletch removal tool that works great. I then soak the fletched end of the arrows in a tube with acetone to remove the glue. Works great.

Wraps.... then just peel off and wipe down with rubbing alcohol. De-fletcher arrow in about 1 min

It’s a pain, but sometimes it just has to be done, just like mowing the yard!!!!

                  I kinda enjoy it.
As long as I'm not using the tape . . .

I like fletching arrows myself (for myself)! Lol!
Seriously though, every freshly fletched arrow is a little work of art full of promise and adventure!
                      Yeah, I like it.

I like scraping off old feathers, I look for an excuse to put another one on but I never have the matching color so usually start over doing all 3.

It takes less than a minute per shaft. Id rather scrape off the old than fletch new. I use a semi dull pocket knife.
