I've heard that is a sign of brucellosis. At least that's what I've heard.

Wonder if it could be some sort of hernia?

So is he 6? Or you worried about him short term or looking to give him a pass to next year? I would think he will be fine but not sure if it will affect next years rack.

I'm guessing 5 or 6. I would like to give him another year just to see if there's a jump. He was 166ish last year from sheds. I'd guess he's a little better this year and has the character.

Weighing the possibility of drop not repeating and the swelling of the nether regions versus letting him go another year.

How much does it cost to taxi the back half of a deer?

We killed one like that years ago. He was a really nice 5 yr 10, his nuts looked just like that. we killed him the next year, his nuts stayed the same size but turned black. his rack stayed the same size from a 5 yr to a 6 yr.
