Anybody lease or do any hunting at a ranch in Iraan near the river? Goodson Hunting Adventures? Looking at getting on a lease there, and going to look this weekend.

Lot of deer in Iraan. Also, if it's in Pecos County you can shoot a muley doe during bow season.

Right off 190 at the river. 9000 acres or so. Wondering if any TBHers were on that lease to give me some advise.

Sounds like a place I hunted turkeys on way back in the early 90's
Guys name was Shipp and it was family land but not sure if their name was Shipp
Killed my first turkey with a bow there

We had a lease right off the river off 190. You turned right at the road before you crossed the bridge going toward Iraan . The place was 14000 acres and the mule deer were smallish and the biggest buck or group killed was a 140 10pt.Comment

This place is split by 190 and I think the river is the west boundary for portions of it. More of the ranch is North of 190.Comment
