    Dish Network negotiating

My 12 month contract with Dish ran out again and went up 44%. I called them again to negotiate a new 12 month contract or cancel and use another provider. The representative had me on hold and looked up all of my info before talking to me. He already knew why I was calling and said I could continue with my discount I was already receiving for another 12 months. No negotiating on my part at all. Do not pay full price. When your contract expires, call an account specialist and ask what they will do to keep your business and not use another provider. It took me about 10 minutes on the phone and saved me over 500 bucks per year for the 2nd year in a row. Easy money.

I had already looked at Direct TV and was not impressed with their prices for new customers anyway.

I do the EXACT same with DirectTV. I’m paying as little as what some are paying for streaming.

You could do that with Time Warner but now that Spectrum bought TW they don't negotiate at all..

Same. I have been paying the contract price for 3 years and never had an increase. All while out of contract

I left Dish when they lost HBO and didn't adjust my price and went to YoutubeTV and have been very happy at $50 a month. They did offer me new customer pricing for a 2 year contract before I said nope for the final time.

Saved $1000s over the course of my life, by never even owning a TV.

Gave up on satellite years ago, look into Hulu, youtube tv, fubu, etc. We get hulu with disney plus for 72 a month and can cancel at anytime.

I think you may be onto something.

I think the satellite company’s days are numbered. They had better be willing to negotiate and keep every customer they can.

I cut dish and their crap off about the time this Kungflu started

Missed it a little at first but can watch what I need on Pluto or a movie on Netflix or Amazon

I don't miss it at all

And it is saving me about $1400/yr
