Now I want some of both.

Can we get a tablita rub recipe?

I have never seen tablitas for sale around here, but I may have overlooked them at the supermercado.
I marinate mine in Alegro Hot and Spicy for 6-8 hours before cooking

I remember growing up and my dad would go to the meat market in Irving at least once a week for meat because it was so cheap. Now it’s no cheaper than every other grocery store!
I do love some tablitas for eating around the campfire though.

So good. I first had them about 15 years ago when we had a crew BBQ. Gave the guys money to get what they wanted and cooked it up for them. They brought tablitas and I was confused as hell. They have been a staple ever since.

We have the around. The only time I ever go in them is when I'm with my framer. We go there to eat tacos. I'll have to check out the meat case.

Sorry , I can’t quit them, I’m hooked on them. I call them bone in bacon. Best finger food out there.
Get mine at the taqueria in Springtown.

                                Bought some.
I was thinking of going the Sous vide route but Holy Smokes it calls for a 48 hour 131 degree bath!
Not sure I can wait that long.
