    Great Plains Bow Company

I guess Great Plains Bow Company moved from Texas to Kansas ?
Is it the same owner, or someone else bought the company ?

I had one of their forward-handle one piece bows years ago and it was nice….I think it was the Palo Duro?

Good looking bow and a good shooter too.

Shane and Carissa Unruh bought it from Bill Forman in 2015 and moved the company from Texas to Kansas in 2016.

Sounds good !!! I was kinda wondering if the quality was the same with the new owners ? I guess it is still very good.

I hate to say this but even the best bowyers will have a oh shat now and then. If you're looking for bullet proof then you may as well look for a unicorn at the same time.

I understand as I have had plenty of trad bows in my time. Was just wanting to know how their quality was now, compared to when Bill owned the company back in Texas ?

The reason I’m asking is, I was thinking about possibly purchasing one.

When I ordered mine I also asked him to add an insert for a bow light or stabilizer as an option, he has never offered it but he did anyways for me. The time frame was 5 weeks from what I remember. I also asked to put inserts for a bolt on quiver. Here’s large pictures see the details.
